Thieves Burn Firefighters

Residents form gofundme page to replace stolen items

Megan McCallum, Resident

few weeks ago the volunteer firefighters answered a 2 A.M. page for a crash on the highway involving two trucks.

Firefighters got to the hall, suited up, jumped in their trucks, and headed to the rescue.

Meanwhile, back at the hall, someone took the opportunity to loot their vehicles and take off with wallets, cell phones, work tools and other personal belongings. They also stole pagers and radios belonging to the fire hall.

Twice now, thieves have targeted the Popkum Fire Hall and its firefighting force.

Could you please SHARE so we can help out this fire hall and the firemen!!!!
