Beautiful Home Leveled by Fire

Chilliwack Fire Department says blaze suspicious

Firefighters hose down a house early Sunday morning. No one was home when the blaze broke out.


t 23:59 a.m. on November 8th, firefighters from Chilliwack Fire Halls 1, 2, 4 and 6 responded to a structure fire in the 50000-block of Yale Road.


When firefighters arrived they found an unoccupied two-storey residential house fully-involved.


Firefighters extinguished the fire, but not before the house were extensively damaged. There were no firefighter or civilian injuries.


This fire appears to be deliberately set and is under investigation by Chilliwack Fire Department and RCMP fire investigators.
