What a Difference a Day Makes

Ryder Lake markets combined with potluck dinner finale

Submitted by Peter Whitlock, Ryder Lake Farmer's Institute

t the meeting Thursday evening, the Ryder Lake Farmers agreed to change the date of the annual Flea Market, Farmers' Market and Taste of Ryder Lake Pot Luck Dinner from Saturday September 20 to Sunday September 21.

There was a conflict with another Ryder Lake Event and we agreed to change our date. I have separately advised the persons with tables already booked of the change.

The annual Ryder Lake Flea Market has been combined with the Farmers' Market and the Taste of Ryder Lake Pot Luck Dinner. These events will all be held on SUNDAY September 21st at the Ryder Lake Hall.

The Flea Market & Farmers' Markets will be held from 9am to 2pm and the Taste of Ryder Lake Pot Luck Dinner will be at 6pm

Tables for the Flea Market are $15. Inside tables are limited so please book early if you wish an inside location. Outside tables are allowed unlimited space.

If you have not attended a Ryder Lake Pot Luck Dinner we encourage you to do so.

The food is really amazing and it is a great way to get to know your neighbours. The idea is to try to bring something made from produce you have grown in Ryder Lake and you will be impressed with the variety and quality of what is available.  (It is okay also just to bring a regular dish, bag of rolls etc.) Always fun community events.
