Divas: Vegas Meets Vaudeville show Sept 24 an eclectic mix of comedy and song
Released by Bonnie Kilroe
amed female impressionist Bonnie Kilroe is back. This time it's with a few suitcases full of wigs and feathered costumes each with it's own personality.
In May, Kilroe entertained Chilliwack with her Tribute to Patsy Cline on Mother’s Day and promised the audience she would be back with her “Big Vegas" show. She was true to form and on Saturday September 24th she'll be presenting her Divas: Vegas meets Vaudeville show in the superb Chilliwack Arts and Cultural Centre.
Kilroe is a musical-comedy celebrity impersonator/genius. She's part Vaudevillian comic, torch singer and sexy siren all packed into a parade of parody!
Divas is a two-hour rollercoaster ride showcasing 14 celebrities from the past and the present.
Kilroe will own the Cultch stage and make your head spin as she flies through costume changes transforming into classic stars like Marilyn Monroe and Mae West. See her flawless renditions of living legends like Cher and Tina Turner and as she morphs into current celebrities like Lady Gaga. There's even comedy with some Sarah Palin thrown into the mix.
Divas has all the class and elegance of an old supper club combined with an edgy cabaret act.
Kilroe captivates and engages through frequent audience participation as she wriggles and giggles through a variety of acts while performing your favourite songs.
Divas 'Celebrity Imposters' has taken Bonnie aboard cruise ships from Alaska to Antarctica, Casinos across North America and she was inducted into the Merritt Mountain Music Festival walk of fame in the 2003 Laugh-A-Fair.
