RCMP bringing in reinforcements for big screen hockey games

Released by RCMP Cpl. Tammy Hollingsworth, Upper Fraser Valley Regional Detachment

he City of Chilliwack is encouraging hockey fans in the community to go cheer on the Vancouver Canucks for the Stanley Cup Playoffs. They are providing all of the games on the City's giant 11' x 17' LED display screen in the parking lot behind Exhibition Field on 45323 Hodgins Avenue (behind Prospera Centre).

"The police want to remind everyone that this is a family event and we will be providing extra enforcement for game nights, " said Cpl. Tammy Hollingsworth. "Please bring your family, your friends, and your lawn chairs, but leave your liquor at home."

First game is at 5:00 pm on June 1st. This is a rain or shine event so come out and enjoy the games. Go Canucks Go!
