MP Strahl discusses budget package

hilliwack-Fraser Canyon MP, Mark Strahl welcomed the Government's Economic Action Plan 2012 for supporting jobs and growth; sustaining important social programs; and for its sound fiscal management.
"This budget seizes the
opportunity Canada has to build a secure and prosperous future for
all Canadians. It reflects what matters most to Canadians creating
jobs and economic opportunities in a fragile global economy," said
• Encouraging entrepreneurship,
innovation and world class research will over $1.1 billion in
research and development.
A realistic plan to return to a
balanced budget in the medium term.Economic Action Plan 2012
also demonstrates the Conservative government's strong support for
British Columbia through record transfer support for hospitals,
schools and other critical services. Totalling over $5.6 billion in
2012-13, the transfer support represents an increase of over $1
billion (or 23%) from the former federal Liberal government.
