Robbery Attempt

DQ spooked by hoodie-wearing thug

Police respond to attempted robbery Tuesday.

 

arly Tuesday evening, around 6:30 P.M., RCMP were called to the Dairy Queen on Young Rd. after receiving a call of a robbery attempt there.

 

It's not known why police weren't notified by the alarm company until 45 minutes after crime occurred.

 

The suspect entered the restaurant and declared that he had a weapon although none was seen. He is described as a clean-shaven Caucasian male in his 30's wearing a black hoodie and black baseball cap. He was last seen fleeing on foot.
