oin the dialogue. Everyone is welcome to watch The Washing of Tears, a film about the Mowachaht people whose cultural whalers shrine becomes the property of the Museum of Natural History in New York in 1903.

This film documents a peoples cultural revival and pride as they finally travel to New York in the early 1990s to visit their shrine. Guest host, Hugh Brody will lead a discussion on issues of repatriation after the film.

Voted best documentary feature at the 1994 Indian Film Festival. The public is welcome. Admission is free. Dinner is by donation.
