Ryder Lake Ramble

Take the tour this year in photos

Submitted by Peter Whitlock, Ryder Lake Farmer's Institute/BC Blooms photos

he 2012 Ryder Lake Ramble was a great event - many thanks to everyone who participated, the residents who opened their farms and gardens, the many volunteers who made it all come together and the caterers and kitchen staff who provided such wonderful food both days.

Thanks to BC Blooms who put this together and to Karen for passing this on.

Ryder Lake Meeting

The June meeting of the Ryder Lake Farmers' Institute is open to all members of the community wishing to attend. The main purpose of the meeting will be to get input from the community regarding the proposal by a faction of the WI to close and sell the Ryder Lake Hall. The meeting will be held at the Hall starting at 7:30.

We will address this issue first and deal with the rest of the regular business at the end of the public section of the meeting.

This issue has great concern among the wider community. Hopefully we can lay the ground work for how will we overcome this issue and keep the Ryder Lake Hall busy and active as a legacy for the next generation of residents.
