Canada is 143!

Heritage Park Canada Day celebrations

Staff/Voice

oday, at Heritage Park, thousands went to the park to celebrate and be entertained. The military museum had a mobile display up that included tanks and guns, a car show gave pancake breakfast eaters something to look at while dogs bounced around obstacle courses.

The smell of fresh buttery popcorn and sweet beaver tails wafted over the crowds. Kid bounced around in odd looking blowup and got their faces painted. There was fun and stuff to do for all ages.

Happy Canada Day.

Heritage Park Manager and feature writer, Ann Macedo, stopped for a second at the 2010 Canada Day celebrations to allow the Voice a shot. Thanks Anna!

The affable Amy from StarFm. Anytime Amy's out in the cruiser truck there's bound to be some fun.

Cheyene holds up a fresh Beaver Tail from Steven Sourtzis' mobile bakery. These are excellent. Nice and crispy too! If you're interested in hiring Steven for your event you can contact him here.

The end of the gallery. Thanks for looking.
