"Back to the Blues"
Gospel blues music fest seeks sponsors
or the last six summers, one of the most uplifting and family events “Back to the Blues” Gospel Blues Festival, has taken place in Chilliwack, at the Thresherman’s Heritage Village by Heritage Park. People come from around the Province, parts of Alberta and Washington to enjoy this weekend. Many plan their holidays to meet and listen to some of the best local and international artists at this event. Go towww.back2blues.com and see past artists and those coming this year. Due to the quality of musicians and family atmosphere our attendance continues to grow each year.
This weekend not only offers one of the most uplifting family events in BC, but an opportunity to raise funds. Funds in excess of our operating budget is used to help purchase refurbish and send a water well drilling truck to a rural districts in different countries of Africa.
Since we are a non-profit organization with a limited budget, we certainly could not succeed at either of these on our own. With understanding, we invite you with others to financially consider helping make this a success both for those at this event, and those in desperate need of safe drinking water. Tax deductible receipts are provided.
Businesses are invited to contact us about our sponsorship packages. Our volunteer representative Rev. Kevin Pentland or someone else would appreciate meeting to discuss how being a sponsor can help your business and the festival.
