Harper gov't looking for feedback regarding 2012 budget

ith deadlines fast approaching, Mark Strahl, MP for Chilliwack-Fraser Canyon, is reminding local citizens that the Conservative Government is seeking their input on two important issues: Budget 2012 and changes to medicinal marihuana.
"Canada's economy remains the envy of the developed world but there are
still too many Canadians looking for work and there remains much uncertainty
in the global economy. We want to hear from Canadians on how we can further
strengthen the recovery and improve their well-being."
As part of their annual pre-budget consultation hearings, the Standing Committee on Finance is asking Canadians for their input into next year's budget. To appear before the Committee as it makes numerous visits across Canada, individuals can contact the Clerk of Standing Committee on Finance before July 29 (see contact information below).
Written submissions no longer than five pages in length, with up to three recommendations that reflect your ideas on taxes, potential new investments, or cost savings related to the federal government can be made until August 12 at the following:
