Getting The Votes In The Box

Complicated ballot confusing voters

Submitted by Neil Monckton, VoteYesBC

n the past six weeks, millions of HST referendum ballots have landed in mailboxes of voters all across BC.

Despite all the opposition – the slick ads, the stick men and the very complicated mail-in ballot – voters are beginning to respond.

But getting our votes – Yes votes to Stop the HST – into the mailbox is done one voter and one ballot at a time.

As our campaign contacts more and more people, we’re finding that the complicated ballot confuses many voters.

We need your help to end the confusion, and help get every last “YES” vote into the mailbox.

Please watch this short video, and share it with your friends on Facebook and Twitter to help stop the confusion, and get the word out about voting.

The video clip is here.

This campaign depends on your support. Please take a moment to share this video with your friends and family.

Together, we can stop the HST.
