Metal Men

Priest Tribute band plays Maple Ridge Feb 10

By Rob Warwick, Rockitboy

Judas Preist will be rocking the Arts Centre and The Centre February 10.

udas Priest is a British Heavy Metal band birthed in 1969. They are frequently ranked as one of the greatest metal bands of all time. Their innovative and pioneering body of work includes “You’ve Got Another Thing Comin’”, “Painkiller”, “Living After Midnight”, “Breaking the Law”, “Electric Eye”, “Screaming for Vengeance”,“Victims of Change”, “Love Bites”, “Some Heads Are Gonna Roll”,“Hell Bent for Leather” and “Metal Gods.”

With a more simplified sound, the album British Steel launched the band to superstar status. The Guardian referred to British Steel as the record that defines heavy metal. Their image of leather, spikes, and other taboo articles of clothing widely influenced the glam metal era.

PRIEST: THE TRIBUTE delivers an authentic Judas Priest experience. With Alex as Rob Halford, Floe as Scott Travis, Shane as Ian Hill, Larry as KK Downing and Shawn as Glen Tipton you get the soaring operatic vocals and the classic twin-guitar stylings of Downing and Tipton; all in full costume. For the ultimate Judas Priest experience, don’t miss PRIEST: THE TRIBUTE!
