Man injured after colliding with vehicle
A motorcycle rider was injured in an accident on Saturday.
ust before 10 p.m. last Saturday, a man riding a motorcycle collided with a car at the intersection of Nowell Ave. and Yale Rd.
The man, although bashed up, was able to stand on his feet after the accident and as BC Ambulance paramedics put a neck brace on him and strapped him onto a gurney. He was taken to Chilliwack General Hospital with unknown injuries.
It was noted by people at the scene that a passerby with a young child didn't bother to shield the youngster, who was wearing a Santa hat, from getting a close-up look at the injured man and apparently she stood there eating chips. One can only hope the victim was okay and youngster wasn't subject to nightmares.
