Community Event

Trivia Trove

Ryder Lake Hall fundraiser planned for April 13

Submitted by Peter Whitlock, RLFI

t's always a struggle for the good folks in Ryder Lake to keep their Community Hall maintained. It's an older building and needs TLC and funding to remain open

One of the creative ways to generate money is by holding fundraising events and in light of that, Ryder Lake Farmer's Institute president Peter Whitlock has organized a Music Trivia Night at 6:30 P.M. April 13 at the hall.

"There is a silent auction component that is always fun. If you have items you can donate for this, please contact us," said Whitlock in an e-mail to The Voice earlier this week.

Whitlock says tickets for these events go fast.

"Tickets are "snapped up very quickly so talk to your friends, arrange your table and book ASAP," he said.
