Man Hospitalized After Attack

RCMP asking public for tips leading to suspect

A cruiser sits outside a home on First Ave. where a man was seriously injured on Wednesday.


n January 30, 2013, at approximately 7:30 PM, police were notified of a serious assault. A 28-year-old man is in hospital with serious injuries. Police attended a residence in the 46000 block of First Avenue to determine if this residence was the scene of the assault.

This investigation is in the early stages as police are still gathering information to determine the details of the occurrence. Further information is not available at this time, however when new information is available an updated release may be distributed.


"What we can tell you at this point in the investigation, is that police believe this was a targeted attack," says Corporal Tammy Hollingsworth. "Serious Crime investigators are working diligently to determine the motive behind the attack."
