Supporting Local Productions

Meet the filmmaker Jan 16

Submitted by Mike Bemister, Chwk

or over two months myself and the film's Actor/Director Rob Beare traveled throughout Asia and created our film.

We went to India, Nepal, Japan and Indonesia and captured breathtaking footage along the way.

We literally had to flee for our lives from rabid dogs and road bandits in India, had our building struck by lighting in Nepal and Rob even fought off Malaria during production of this film.

There is a great story behind it's production and we would love to share our stories with The Valley Voice in order to highlight our film and ambitious Independent Filmmaking from Chilliwack artists.

Our film has found success on the Film Festival circuit winning "Best Feature Film" at the Spirit Quest Film Festival, "Best Canadian Film" at Okanagan Film Festival International, and "Judge's Choice" at the International Film Festival for Peace, Inspiration and Equality, in Jakarta which was officially sponsored by the World Peace Organization.

We are Chilliwack locals and the film was edited here in Chilliwack and features some music from local Chilliwack artists "These Kids wear crowns"

You can see our new trailer at the following link on YouTube here.
