Award-winning Vancouver roots artist Tamara Nile to play Bozzini's Jan 21

ozzini's is pleased to present the first performance of 2012 & of our 30 year anniversary concert series. T. Nile with special guests, Matthew Rogers (of Harpoonist and the Axe Murderer) on guitar, percussion and backing vocals and Melissa Bandura (of Lily Come Down and Bow and Antler) on rhythm guitar, keys, violin and harmony / backing vocals will be a like a blast of sunshine when we need it most.


Tamara Nile is the winner of multiple awards including Best New/Emerging Artist at the Canadian Folk Music Awards. More recently, she was nominated for "Best Contemporary Vocalist". John P. McLaughlin of The Province wrote of Tamara Nile "Coming from Galiano Island with a banjo on her knee, Vancouver's T. Nile could well be the biggest roots noise out of these very rootsy parts since Neko Case and the Be Good Tanyas."


This will be Tamara's fourth time in the cozy upstairs lounge at Bozzini's and each time she brings along great acompanying performers and this time is no exception.
