The Organic Hoax

Urban activists support a carbon tax

Released by Mischa Popoff, Kelowna

e face two serious credibility problems in the organic industry.

First, the overwhelming majority of honest, hard-working organic farmers in the United States and Canada simply donít care if their neighbours use genetically-modified seed. Itís the urban leaders of the organic movement whoíre stoking irrational fear, not farmers. And yet we all stand idly by and let these activists use organic farmers for political ends.

Second, the organic industry pretends that organic farming will stop global warming. Meanwhile, the overwhelming majority of organic farmers donít even believe human activity affects the climate. And theyíre right!

Farming contributes more greenhouse gas than any other industry, sector or activity − a whopping 37 percent of a developed nationsí total greenhouse gas emissions. And yet, urban organic activists who claim to speak on behalf of organic farmers support plans for a carbon tax.

And no, I donít work for anyone. Iím 100% independent. So itís safe to go ahead and have a look at my latest two articles on these two issues. You can find them at the top of the News Page of my website.
