Extra! Extra! Read All About It!

City-wide literacy challenge deadline Feb 24

Released by Debbie Denault, CCLS

here are now 68 places around the community to pick up and return ballots, or you can participate on line at or the Bookman.

There are 9 prize packages to be won. Each includes a new book, a cloth bag, a first aid kit, and a “special assortment” gift. And, last but not least at all – each package will include a gift certificate - and one is the $250.00 Pedal Sport grand prize.

The prizes and locations can all be found on the attached flyer.

We hope you’re planning to count yourself in as a reader. Perhaps you’re encouraging someone who has difficulty or doesn’t like reading to participate?  Either way – it’s not too late to get started. Click the video link below to find out what to do. There’s a ballot attached as well for your convenience as well.

Mark your calendar – return your ballot by Feb. 24th.

And it’s never too early to say thank you. Thank you in advance to Mayor Gaetz who has graciously agreed, once again, to draw the names of the prize winners. Thanks to you for reading this email and passing it along; and to all of the other individuals, networks, organizations and businesses who are participating in the City-Wide Literacy Challenge!
