Unique, Sublime Sound
Ndidi Onukwulu turns her Canadian experience into music Feb 24
Released by Melissa Mark, CAC
here are some voices that demand we listen to them. Not to their words necessarily, but to their tone, to the emotional undercurrent that carries with it the soul of the speaker. Ndidi Onukwulu is one of those voices.
Born of a Nigerian father and a German mother, Onukwulu's music explores
a diverse range of sounds and styles. Her unique, sublime sound
represents a distinctly Canadian experience, which is to be savoured.
The Chilliwack Arts Council proudly presents Ndidi Onukwulu on Friday,
February 24, 2012 as part of our 2011-2012 Chilliwack Concert Series at
the Chilliwack Cultural Centre located at 9201 Corbould Street. The
final performance date for the series is: Caladh Nua on March 21, 2012.
