On The Buses 

BC Transit looking for public input at open house Feb 27

The Future Bus stopped at Chilliwack City Hall last year.


C Transit together with the Fraser Valley Regional District, City of Chilliwack, the District of Kent, Village of Harrison and the District of Hope are pleased to invite residents to comment on phase two of the Chilliwack Regional 25 Year Transit Future Plan at open houses from February 27 through March 1, 2012.

 

The Transit Future Plan focuses on services within Chilliwack, but also includes regional connections to and from Agassiz, Harrison, Hope and the Central Fraser Valley.

Drop by the Open Houses:

  • Chilliwack Evergreen Hall, 9291 Corbould St Monday, February 27 3-6pm
     

  • Hope Municipal Hall, 325 Wallace St Tuesday, February 28 4-7pm
     

  • Kent Municipal Hall, 7170 Cheam Ave Wednesday, February 29 4-7pm
     

  • Harrison Memorial Hall, 280 Esplanade Ave Thursday, March 1 3-6pm

At the open houses residents will also be able to view proposed transit changes in Chilliwack scheduled for summer 2012 and provide their feedback on longer term changes for Chilliwack, Agassiz, Harrison and Hope. An on-line survey is also available for residents to provide their comments.

Open houses for phase one of the Transit Future Plan took place in May 2011.
