A thousand Chilliwack kids are going to see the Junior A Cup free courtesy of Save-On and RBC

The RBC Cup 2018 Host Committee and Save-On-Foods are pleased to announce plans to Adopt-a-Student when the community of Chilliwack plays host to Canada's Junior Hockey Championship from May 12th to 20th, 2018.

Save-On-Foods through its overall sponsorship of the Royal Bank Cup (RBC) 2018 who will ensure 1,000 tickets are distributed to local students to see the BEST in Canada on the ice in afternoon round-robin games.


To further enhance the overall promotional and marketing efforts of the RBC Cup 2018 Chilliwack, Save-On-Foods will provide in-store RBC Cup ticket promotions where shoppers will receive tickets to RBC Cup Games while shopping at the three Chilliwack stores.

Cal Siemens, regional director of Save-On-Foods was very pleased in making the announcement, saying:  "The health and wellness of kids and families is a key focus for us, along with our longstanding commitment to supporting organizations rooted in building stronger communities. With the hockey community's family focus, this key partnership was a natural fit for us and we're excited to help make it a success as it comes to Chilliwack this year."

The RBC Cup 2018 Chilliwack Host Committee are pleased to have representatives from Save-On-Foods along with School District #33 to make the official announcement. In attendance were:

About the RBC Cup
Since 1971, teams from across Canada have fought for the National Junior 'A' Championship. The RBC Cup is an annual tournament between the League Champions of the four regions within the CJHL and the Host Club in a  quest to become the National Champion.
