This butterfly-covered tree was at Minter's Country Store in December 2010.

ach year when Christmas rolls around, it can be particularly difficult for people who've lost someone they loved.

One way a person can pay tribute is by purchasing a paper butterfly from the Chilliwack Hospice Society's for their Celebrate A Life Christmas tree.

Anyone wishing to place a butterfly in memory of a loved one, can either go to Minter Country Gardens on Young Rd between the hours of 11:00 A.M. and 8:00 P.M. where they'll find the tree, or you can go to the Society's Thrifty Boutique during regular business hours until Dec 22 where another tree is located.

Thrifty Boutique is located at 260 – 45428 Luckakuck Way. Business hours are Monday to Saturday 9:30 am - 5:00 pm

Donation drop-off hours are Monday to Saturday 9:30 A.M. - 4:30 P.M. Call 604-846-2226 for more information or e-mail here.

All donations go to support of the work the Hospice Society does in the community of Chilliwack. They accept gently used items: clothes, décor, small appliances, and furniture.

The Hospice is located at 45360 Hodgins Ave, Chilliwack, BC V2P 1P5 604-795-4660
