Party in the Park organizers roll up the rugs after huge final show

Central Community Park was bursting at the seams Friday for the final show of the year. Below, lead singer with a Tragically Hip tribute band called "The Hip."


t was sitting room in bowl at central Community, Park only and very well have could set an all-time record for Party in the Park.


An eclectic crowd waited patiently for their favourite local bands Christian to Rock and Roll, food, artisan vendors. 


As always, there was lots of things to keep the kids busy with bubble castles, road hockey and martial arts demonstrations.


Outside Triple Play pub people relaxed over a drink were having a party of their own listening acoustic musicians.

Erik & Brittany, Sound Faith, Maggpie and Horsepower bands. As a special tribute to Canada 150.  and organizers brought in Tragically Hip tribute band called "The Hip" for a special Canada 150 final act.


Stage crews were a well-oiled machine and did an awesome of getting the stage prepared. Go Audio put together an earthshaking sound system with elaborate board systems.

It was another great July of shows with thanks to emcee Trevor MacDonald of Macdonald Entertainment and Kyle Williams of the Downtown Business Improvement Association and all the sponsors who made it happen
