MP Mark Strahl looking to hear from constituents

Strahl, Member of Parliament for Chilliwack--Fraser Canyon, will be making a
tour of the riding Friday, August 19 to Sunday, August 21.
Strahl will begin with a tour of Alexandra Bridge Provincial Park, adjacent
to the Fraser River approximately 40 kilometres north of Hope. This event,
hosted by the New Pathways to Gold Society, will celebrate the commencement
of upgrades to the Tikwalus Trail and inform government representatives and
members of the surrounding communities on the proposed redevelopment plans
for the Park area.
Following this, on Friday, August 19 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Strahl will host a meet and greet event at Chum's Restaurant in Cache Creek. Strahl will host another meet and greet event later that evening from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. in Lillooet at his Lillooet office at 657 Main Street.
On Saturday, August 20 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Strahl will host a third meet and greet event in Pemberton at the Pemberton Valley Lodge.
"I'm looking forward to meeting as many constituents as I can at these events, and hearing about the issues that matter to them," said Strahl.
Strahl will conclude his constituency tour with a tour of the Gold Bridge area, hosted by the Squamish-Lillooet Regional District and the Bridge River Valley Economic Development Society. This tour includes visiting exciting community and heritage sites in the Bridge River Valley area and learning about important economic development in the area.
Strahl has been busy this summer, having participated in numerous events and meetings all over the riding. He was also called back to Ottawa to participate in a special briefing for members of the Standing Committee on National Defence regarding to the situation in Libya.
