The Kids Are Alright

Whimsical art from GW Graham students May 18 to June 17 at the Cultch

Mary Main, CVAA

RT33 is a collective of students from School District 33 high schools (Chilliwack, G.W. Graham and Sardis Secondary). It is a favourite annual event at the O'Connor Group Art gallery with the exhibiting student's friends and family as well as members of the art community.

The artworks showcased in this exhibition are responses to projects in a variety of courses offered at the high school level as juried by the art teachers during the 2016-2017 school year.  Students are encouraged to share their personal taste and experiences through drawing, painting, printmaking, graphic design, digital art, ceramics, sculpture, animation and fabric arts.

For some students, this is a start of a career in the arts. For others, this is a demonstration of their affinity for the arts.
