Ryder Lake News

The Aidant Stranger

Woman helps dog hit by car

By Rob and Brenda Wall. Submitted by Peter Whitlock, RLFI

ould you be able to pass along our gratitude to the lady who waited for us to retrieve our dog, that had been hit by a car (not hers). It was evident by what she said, that she is a resident of Ryder Lake (I didn't get her name).

She not only called the number on the collar, but also moved Charly to the side of the road and covered her with a blanket. She also offered me a ride
home.

I know the loss of our family pet is minimal to all the suffering that so many have to endure every day, but what a blessing to meet a fellow resident that cared enough to consider a strangers family and their concerns that day.

Thank-you to whomever you may be!
