ould you play the odds and gamble when it comes to your life? Chances are when you play this lottery, youíll lose. One in Seven men will get prostrate cancer. So it's important for men to learn and talk to a doctor about getting checked.


Do you, or someone you know have prostrate issues?

PCCN Chilliwack Prostate Cancer Information and Awareness Group will be holding their regular monthly meeting May 3rd, 2012 at 7:30 P.M. at the Mt Cheam Lion's Hall at 45580 Spadina Ave. in Chilliwack.


The speaker will be Dr. Joann Baldwin-Peters who has recently completed an online survey on Prostate cancer and sexuality for survivors and partners. There will also be an opportunity to discuss any prostate-related issues and visit with a number of survivors after the presentation. Everyone is welcome.

The Westcoast Motorcycle Ride to Live fundraiser will be starting in Chilliwack on Sunday May 27th. Visit for more information and watch the Voice.

In June, PCCN hosts the first annual Chilliwack Fathers day walk/run for Prostate Cancer. The 5 KM Walk will start at the ASU, to the Vedder Bridge and down the Rotary trail and back again. It will be followed by a Pancake Breakfast, prepared by the Mt Cheam Lionís Club, entertainment and prize presentation for the top fundraisers.    Registration will start at 8 AM with the Walk starting at 9:30 AM.
