Walk This Way

MS Walk takes place May 5

Submitted by Deanna McIntyre, MS Society/Voice file photo

tarting and finishing at Strathcona Elementary School, this year’s Scotiabank MS Walk is sure to be one to remember. The 5 km route leads Walkers on a scenic tour of the Fairfield Island farmlands.

Our runners can do the route twice for a pastoral 10km run. Be sure to stop at the MEDIchair Rest Stop for a cool drink and a quick equipment check up!  Back at the finish area, Walkers can enjoy snacks and refreshments, live entertainment, music, family-friendly activities and great company!

Bring wheelchairs, scooters or strollers!  This route is accessible to everyone.

British Columbia has the third highest concentration of people with MS in Canada with an estimated 7,300-10,000 living with this neurological disease. Last year over 6,000 supporters raised over $1.58 million across BC.
