Coalition looking for help replenishing Mission creek riparian area April 20

Watersheds Coaltion volunteers planting native species along Hope Slough last year.


he Fraser Valley Watersheds Coalition, Missionís Adopt-a-Block Society and the Fraser Valley Conservancy are teaming up to restore a section of Windebank Creek and we need your help planting native vegetation along this waterway. 


When: FRIDAY ĖAPRIL 20th from 10:00am to 2:00pm

Where: 32540 Logan Avenue Mission BC. For MAP directions go here.

Windebank Creek is located in the District of Mission BC. Please park at 32540 Logan Avenue. Dress for the weather, bring a shovel if you have one, rubber boots and gloves suggested.

Woodtone generously donated stakes to hold down beaver guards at this location and we need help cutting them. If you have a little time, a mitre saw and are willing to cut some small wood stakes please contact me for more details
