The Big Bike cruises into Chilliwack May 3

ost people have ridden a double bicycle but what about a bicycle built for thirty? For a small donation on Thursday, residents can hop on board the biggest bike they’ll ever ride and help out a good cause.
If you’ve never ridden the big red centipede, otherwise known as the Big Bike, then you’re missing out in quite the experience. You could say that these people are all heart. The BC Heart and Stroke Foundation’s Big Bike is coming to Chilliwack May 3. Teams assembled from local businesses ride around the Chilliwack Mall parking lot. In 2010, about 80 riders brought in $7,000 for the Foundation.
The Heart & Stroke Big Bike is one of the primary community fundraising events for the Heart and Stroke Foundation. This bicycle built for 30 travels across Canada from April to September, making its way along high-profile routes through more than 200 communities in nine provinces. The Big Bike is eight feet across at the wheels and 30 feet long.
The Big Bike will be riding through the following cities on the following days:
