n September 20, 2013, 14-month-old Alexcia McKamey was on an scheduled overnight visit with her father when the baby girl tragically died.

According to the child's mother, Jacqueline McKamey, RCMP IHIT considers the death to be suspicious and is investigating.

It's been a year now and for McKamey the frustration continues to build. She says she wants answers.

McKamey contacted The Voice Thursday to let our readers know that she is holding a rally Monday, September 20 at Abbotsford Crown Counsel office.

"We are having a BBQ and balloon release in Alexcia's memory , in honour of her short life. Everyone is welcome to join us, in memory of her life and help show how many want justice to what happened to a little angel whose life was taken way too soon," she said in a Facebook post.

There are also plans for a pot luck dinner for supporters.
