Customer Appreciation Day Sept 20

Released by Kyle Williams, Exec. Dir. Downtown Chilliwack Business Improvement Association

k, so summer isn't officially over – the sun is still shining and most kids are not back in school – but fall is coming regardless of signs that point to the contrary. It is time to thank downtown shoppers for their patronage and loyalty over the summer months, and to see if we can attract new visitors to help kick off the fall season.

Our Fall Customer Appreciation Day is Saturday September 20, and we encourage all downtown businesses to participate to the best of their ability. Local merchants work very hard to attract visitors into the downtown, and this is just another way to help ensure a positive shopping experience for everyone.
Customers will be invited to visit downtown businesses and be entered into a draw once for every purchase they make on Customer Appreciation Day. It is our hope that the opportunity to enter the contest multiple times will encourage visitors to shop at multiple locations. “Participating” businesses will be given promotional material to let customers know of the prize draw opportunities.

To be a participating merchant, we request a gift certificate, valued at $25 or more, to be given away as part of the prize packages. Contributing to the prize package is a great way to show how much you value downtown customers and hopefully expand your current customer base.

All participating merchants will be identified in the newspaper, on the BIA Website and through social media, along with general promotion inviting people to come downtown.

More specific details of Customer Appreciation Day have been distributed by Harold and Sarena, but here is the link in case the notice did not make it into your hands. CLICK HERE

We do require confirmation from each business that wishes to take part no later than 12:00 noon on Tuesday, September 16.

Please email Sheena to let her know, or give us a call at 604.792.4576.
