n a report submitted to the Legislative Assembly today, Chief Electoral Officer Keith Archer, Ph.D. recommends changes to British Columbia's Election Act.


 "These recommendations seek to improve the accessibility and efficiency of the electoral process in B.C.," said Archer, "and further meet the diverse needs of B.C.'s voters."

Under section 13 (1)(d) of the Election Act, Chief Electoral Officers have the authority to recommend amendments to provincial electoral legislation.
