Under the Influence

Lasting Impressions the final CVAA show of the year, Oct 11 meet and greet at the Chilliwack Museum

Submitted by Mary Main, CVAA

asting Impressions is the new CVAA Fall show, to be held in the Chilliwack Museum Chambers Gallery.

This is the last show of the year for the members of the CVAA, so is rather special.

There will be a display of paintings, drawings, sculpture, textiles & ceramics with a difference!

Each piece of Art will have been inspired by something seen or remembered, which has made a big impression on the individual artist in the past, or it may be the creation of a new, memorable impression that will last well into the future. Perhaps we may discover a new, modern, Monet or Degas!

Come and "Meet and Greet" the artists on Saturday 11th October at the free Reception from 12 noon until 2 PM.

The exhibit runs from October 6th until November 7th at the Chilliwack Museum, 45820 Spadina Avenue. Opening hours are Mon. to Fri. 9 AM to 4:30 PM, and the admission fee is $3 or $2 for students and seniors.

We should emphasize that the weekday entrance fee covers admission to the War Exhibit currently on at the Museum. The Saturday Opening is free.
