Cultus Declares Candidates

ultus Lake Park will hold a 2014 general local election to fill three seats on the Cultus Lake Park Board, which consists of five Commissioners; three elected by eligible electors of Cultus Lake Park, and the remaining two elected by eligible electors of the City of Chilliwack.


The following candidates have filed nomination papers for the three positions of Commissioner for the Cultus Lake Park 2014 Local Election: 

HALL, Charlotte      Cultus Lake, BC

LAMB, Joe              Cultus Lake, BC

PAYEUR, Larry       Cultus Lake, BC

TURCASSO, Rose  Cultus Lake, BC

The following are candidates for the two positions of Commissioner to be elected by the City of Chilliwack electors, separate and distinct from the Cultus Lake Park local election:

Allinott, Scott      

Bauer, Darcy      

Renwick, David      

Shanks, Malcolm      

Toews, Carlton  

General voting day will be Saturday, November 15, 2014 between 8:00 am and 8:00 pm at the Cultus Lake Community School. 


Advance voting opportunities will be held on Wednesday, November 5, 2014 between 8:00 am and 8:00 pm at the Cultus Lake Community Hall. 


Mail-in voting will be available to resident and non-resident property electors who are unable to attend general voting day and advance voting opportunities. Ballot packages will be available for pick up after noon on Friday, October 24, 2014 until Friday, November 7 at 4:00 pm at the Park Office, or can be mailed to the leaseholder's address on file upon request. It is the responsibility of the elector to ensure that complete mail in ballots and all required documents are received in the Park office before 4 pm on November 14 in order to be accepted.  


Residents and non-resident property electors will register for voting at the time of vote.
