uly is always a busy month in Chilliwack with Canada Day July 1 festivities at Townsend Park featuring a plethora of events for all ages.

Also, throughout the month, Central Park is the scene what's called "Party in the Park" with several locations featuring local, bands put together by emcee Trevor Macdonald from Macdonald Entertainment.

On Sundays, Macdonald hosts the 89.5 The Drive Radio show called  "Nuthin' but the 70s" at the Jolly Miller Pub from 9am to 1pm featuring golden oldies from that era sure to dig up warm memories for many from then.

This year, The Voice has been saving up some fun photos from those July events to share with you now that summer is long gone, and today with the incumbent showers, it's a good time to curl up with a cup of your favourite bev and review the pictures on your iphones and computers. You never know, maybe you'll spot yourself or someone you know.

First up are some of our favourites from Canada Day kicked-off with the national anthem sung by local Desmond Devnich.

Here goes.
