Police arrest suspect after store break-in

A B&E suspect is arrested and placed into a cruiser early Tuesday.

 

olice were kept busy overnight Tuesday after being alerted to a break and enter in progress at Broadway Market.

 

The suspect climbed onto the roof and then forced his way into the store.

At around 4 a.m., RCMP were alerted and surrounded store on First Ave and it was determined the suspect was still inside the building.

A Police Dog Services K9 unit was brought in and the fire department ladder truck was summoned.

 

When the ladder was in place, Mounties were able to gain access to the roof and extract the suspect who was taken down, handcuffed, placed in a cruiser and read his Miranda Rights.

 

The store was cleared any other possible suspects.

The suspect was taken away to where he was given a new roof over his head a jail roof.
