Caspi brings her unique style to the CRV March 20
Jeff Bonner, Tractorgrease Cafe
hawna Caspi is a singer-songwriter with a powerful voice and serious guitar chops. With a commanding stage presence and an inviting charm, she doesn't need a band to deliver an engaging and energetic show. She has all the sound she needs under her fingertips, with a remarkable finger-style guitar technique. This is one show you will not want to miss.
Shawna makes her living singing stories in cafes, theatres, living rooms, and even on moving trains. She has toured across Canada and into the United States and has played festivals including the Blue Skies Music Festival, the Summerfolk Festival, the Ottawa Grassroots Festival, and the Deep Roots Music Festival. She loves the landscapes of her travels and while weaving them into her songs, she has also been portraying them on canvases. Shawna paints one-of-a-kind works of art inspired by the rich scenery she sees in her travels.

Tractorgrease was established in 2001 as a loose collective of like minded individuals with a passion for music, video and media in all its forms.
Our Years of experience in Multimedia and a vision for our own production studio led to the creation of Tractorgrease Multimedia. Our new creative space that combines the components of a live venue with the equipment and layout of a production studio. The goal of Tractorgrease is to enhance the artistry of musicians through audio and video. Creating CD/DVD's, internet marketing and EPK's are some of the additional services we offer
The Tractorgrease team or Great Creators include :
A long time Multimedia designer and music fanatic. He learned a little secret, visualize where you want to work and make it happen. After years of producing live video/dvds for the likes of 5440, Barney Bentall, Mother Mother, Steve Dawson, Tom Wilson and Ridley Bent the thought of creating a live music production studio came to mind. Now it's a reality. Jeff has been nominated for several awards including a Blues Music Award and WCMA for the Mississippi Sheiks DVD he directed/edited. As well as a BCMA nomination for best video director.
We call him Bad Ass Bill cause he's Bad Ass on Bass. I think he's been playing for 100 years or at least it seems that way. If you need bass guitar on your tracks he plays electric bass, fretless or stand up bass and he's a gear head who owns high end instruments and pre amps.
