Firebug Strikes Again

Random fires are happening frequently in Chilliwack

Two firefighters put out a blaze with a handheld extinguisher in a carport behind this home early Tuesday.


t happened again. Someone set fire to combustibles left outside a home in the 46000 block of Bole Ave around 6:45 a.m. Tuesday.


The fire department has responded numerous times to small fires that were deliberately set in combustibles left outside near homes and businesses.


These are random fires happening in assorted locations around the city. The only common denominator is that the blazes happen in and around the backside of buildings such as off an alleyway.
