Drunken argument leads to knife slashing

A Native man, the victim of a knife attack, is taken back to the reserve after being treated at Chilliwack General Hospital.


n Saturday, March 15, a drunken fight between two brothers on the Skway Reserve led to one of the men being taken to hospital where he was treated for knife wounds on an arm.


The assailant left the area and the following day Mounties were still searching for him. A woman who was witness to the incident and alleged girlfriend of the assailant, was reportedly not cooperating.


Police remain tight-lipped about the attack and did not respond to the Voice's questions.
