Arson on Bole

Storage locker fire deliberately set says fire chief

Fire crews quickly contained a blaze that was deliberately set on Bole Ave. Sunday.


n March 30th 2014 at approximately 2:22 pm the Chilliwack Fire Department was dispatched to a reported structure fire located in the 46000 block of Bole Avenue.


On arrival, fire crews saw smoke coming from a storage room on the ground floor of a three-storey apartment building.


Firefighters responded from Halls 1 and 4. The fire was quickly brought under control minimizing damage to the storage structure with no apparent extension to the interior of the building.


There were no civilian or firefighter injuries.


This fire is believed to be deliberately set and is under investigation by Chilliwack Fire Department and RCMP fire investigators.
