Alarmed and Not Dangerous

Crews check out another false alarm

Fire engine No. 1 sits outside the Newmark Apts. Sunday.

 

lot of what the Chilliwack Fire Department does is run out to check on false alarms, such as alarms that are set off by cooking or dust.

 

Such was the case on Sunday when firefighters were called out to the Newmark Apts. on Yale Rd.

 

There was no risk of fire and crews managed to silence the alarm.
