Ryder Lake Rub
A Community Together
Ryder Lake Ramble June 13-14 could use a few extra hands
By Peter Whitlock, President, Ryder Lake Farmer's Institute
s many of you will know Patrick and I spent a week in Vancouver at the end of May getting his hip replacement done. This has put me behind a bit on getting volunteers for the upcoming Ryder Lake Ramble June 13 & 14.
I will be calling this week to line
up volunteers. If you wish to be included, email me. It is
always a fun day.
I need more ticket sellers and plant
sellers for Saturday 1:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and both shifts on
Sunday 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
We need a couple of teams of two each
to put the venue signs out on Friday evening and the direction
signs Saturday and Sunday morning.
We are picking up plants at Gwynne Vaughan park at 3pm today. If you are able to be there about that time, Ron Dunn is bringing his large trailer and we can use extra hands to load it.
The same next Saturday to get the plants from Forester Rd to the Hall at 8 a.m.
