June, Sardis, Chilliwack and Yarrow Libraries will be celebrating National
Aboriginal History Month. Come help us celebrate the rich diversity in our

Summer Reading Club

This year’s Summer Reading Club theme is BUILD IT! Read anything and
anywhere! Come to the library with your reading record for weekly entries
and chances to win gift cards as well as assorted library products. A grand
prize will be drawn at the end of the summer for a basket of books and other

Visit the eHelp Desk for one-on-one help with downloading digital content (eBooks,
audiobooks, and magazines) and accessing databases via FVRL's website.
Book Sale Blitz
Chilliwack Library: Saturday, Jun 13th, 10:00am-4:00pm
Buy gently loved donated items and materials withdrawn from FVRL's
collection. Books, magazines, DVDs, CD Books, MP3s, and more are available
at great prices. Book Sale proceeds go to support local library programming
and collections. This event is organized by the Friends of the Chilliwack
in Public Day
Sardis Library, Wednesday, Jun 17th, 1:00pm-2:30pm
Come one, come all - knitters of all skill levels are welcome! The Sardis
Library Knit One, Knit All group is celebrating World Wide Knit in Public
Day. Bring your knitting (or crocheting!) projects and join the fun.

Library Genealogy Group

Improve your genealogy software skills with Ancestry Library Edition. Share
ideas, learn new tips and tricks, solve research roadblocks, and learn the
history of the area and era of your choice. New members welcome. Facilitated
by Marlene Dance, UFV ElderCollege Instructor, and assisted by Katie

Meet fellow book lovers and discuss a selected title. Call or visit the
library to learn which book is being discussed this month. Copies of the

Are you new to the community or newly retired? Are you an adult looking to
connect with others in our community? Drop in and participate in our monthly
library social. There will be coffee and treats, as well as great
conversation and games. Guest speakers will be on hand from 2:30 pm - 3 pm
to talk about various topics and resources for seniors and caregivers.
