Chilliwack Fair still has some volunteer slots to fill

he Chilliwack Fair is currently seeking people to fill several volunteer positions to help with the 2014 Fair, Aug 8-10.  If you are interested in any of these positions please fill out the volunteer form on our website at www.chilliwackfair.com so that you can join our team. 

 

Did you know that the Fair is almost entirely hosted by volunteers? 

 

Anyone who works a 4 hour shift will be given a one day gate pass and an invitation to our Volunteer Appreciation BBQ.

 

Volunteer positions to be filled:

Barn Attendants: building 2 -  8 four hour shifts to be filled,  sweep and clean around pens (chickens, piglets, etc)

Barn Attendants: building 3 8 four hour shifts to be filled, sweep sawdust and clean manure around pens and show ring (sheep, goats, llamas etc)

Barn Attendant: building 4 3 four hour shifts to be filled, hose down wash racks, clean manure around stalls and show ring (dairy cows)

Signage: offsite set up signs around the community one week before the Fair

Signage: on site set up signs on the grounds before the fair and take down after the fair

Vendor booths 2 people to set up pipe and drape for vendors week before the Fair

Vendor set up show vendors where to set up when they arrive Thursday, Aug 7

 Volunteers who fill out the registration form will be contacted to arrange suitable positions
