he Cultus Lake Park Board is committed to serving our community. Sometimes, this means making difficult decisions. After an in-depth review and thoughtful consideration, the Board has concluded that it is in the best interest of the Cultus Lake community to sell the Vedder River Campground.
To date, Park Board staff have been working with the Ministry of Forests, Lands and Natural Resource Operations’ staff to complete the negotiations on the Licence of Occupation agreement and are working on what will need to be done to effectively transfer the operation.
We realize that change can be difficult. It is our
hope that the campground will continue to be a place for people to visit
and experience nature, spend quality time with family and friends, and
sit back and relax.
Our campground offers pull-through full service sites with 30 amp service, water and sewer. Our amenities include washrooms, showers, sani-station, laundry, bylaw enforcement, horseshoe pits, playground and amazing salmon and trout fishing (closed in June). Our large group sites are perfect for large gatherings such as weddings, family reunions and work events. A spawning channel with viewing adds to the exciting and beautiful naturescape and walking trails. Only 6.5 km from Cultus Lake, our guests can enjoy the best of both worlds. We offer nightly, weekly and monthly rates. Reservations are recommended. Winter camping now available!
