Winterfest Karneval Dance

Hybrid of an Oktoberfest, Mardi Gras and a German Fasching Feb 13

Patrick Lynch, RLFI

he Ryder Lake Farmers' Institute is presenting a Winter Dance Party on Saturday, February 13, 2016.

We are looking for volunteers who can help with set up, clean up, serving of food, kitchen clean up and more.

If you should be interested in helping with some of the jobs, even if you are planning to attend the event, please contact me. We are looking for volunteers to provide food dishes for the buffet supper.

If you choose to make a dish (or dishes) and wish to donate your ingredients and time, that is wonderful. But should you want to be reimbursed for your costs, kindly save your bills and present them to us and you will be reimbursed.

It is too big of an event to be taken on by one or two people and we ask for help in making this a wonderful event.

We are calling it a Winterfest Karneval. It is rather a hybrid of an Oktoberfest, Mardi Gras and a German Fasching. A good time will be had by all. Please e-mail here  or phone 604 824 7450 or 604 799 5900 (Peter's cell) if you would like to participate. If you want to prepare food, let me know what dish you would be bringing so that we don't double up.

Tickets are available now. See you then!

Any net funds from this event go to maintain the Ryder Lake Hall.
